આવા સંજોગોમાં માનવજીવન બચાવવા સારવાર અને ઓપરેસન કરવા જરૂરી થઇ પડે છે. આ સંજોગોમાં દર્દીને રક્તની ત્વરિત જરૂરત પડે છે. આધુનિક વિજ્ઞાનની પ્રગતિ ને કારણે હવે આ શક્ય બન્યું છે કે જરૂરતમંદને અન્ય વ્યક્તિ રક્ત પૂરું પાડે તો તેને જીવન બચાવી લેવામાં મદદરૂપ થઇ પડે છે.
